Founded in Berlin in August 2019 as Cryptocurrency Mining Group (CMG) — a name that reflected the broader landscape of Proof-of-Work mining — as a community to bring together bitcoin mining sector participants and those interested in the sector.
From June 2026 becomes BTCMining.Markets (BMM) — a dedicated platform focused on Bitcoin mining infrastructure, market analytics & trends, cross-sector convergence, bridging into DeFi/TradFi, and Bitcoin protocol developments (Stratum V2 / BIPs).
